Warmly Welcome to the Old Students of State High School No.1 Yankin !

We have been celebrated the Paying Homage Ceremony to the respectable retired Teachers by the Old Students of S.H.S (1) Yankin,
the academic years between 1962 - 1975,
as to be tradition without any failure.
Annually we carried out the said ceremony since 1997 and then we performed and celebrated the latest 8th occasion on the January 1,2006.
We preserved the Old Students of the academic years between 1962 to 1975,now we extend more three academic years as to be between 1962 - 1978
We always maintain the Aims & Objects of the Paying Homage Ceremony as follows:
1. We deeply acknowledge that we have been taught & guided by our old teachers and benefited that we have bearing the recent status.
2. We regularly pay homage to whom are respectable and keep that humble practice as tradition.
3. We do welcome warmly to the new blood of the old students as to be new Executive Members and as to be Activist.
4. We eagerly effort the some kind of maintenance fees as the general expenses of the old teachers
as could as we can,whatsoever small amount,otherwise.Even the Pension payment are low, counter to the high costs of living we determined to assist our old teachers as could as we can.

As another part of the activities and performances,

we have been established the Health-Care Funds for the pensioned teachers for their general health assistance,now we get the saving account up to reasonable and handsome amount so far,at the Myanmar Oriental Bank (M.O.B)and possess the saving certificates amount up to Kyats Seven Hundred Thousand (Kyats 700,000/-) at the Myanma Economic Bank,so far.

Hence,the coming 11th Anniversary of the Paying Homage Ceremony would be celebrated and performed on
the January 18,2009,Sunday,
